Here is Alex getting ready to blow out his candle! I guess his older brother, Garett was keeping him from touching the candle by holding his hands back, not sure Alex really cared for that or everybody watching him!=-)
Here's our happy, smiley guy posing for the camera. I used to not be able to get him to look at the camera on cue...I think he is now starting to realize what it means when mom pulls out the camera!=-)
This is my attempt at making a Barnyard Cake (Family Fun mag.) for his Birthday, I think the cupcakes turned out a lot cuter than the barn and the silo...next time, I think we will just stick w/ the animal cupcakes...that darn silo and barn kept falling over no matter what I tried! We don't always usually have huge birthday parties w/ friends until they are older and then after that it is only every other year, so the cake is something I like to try and make really special...well, at least this year the cupcakes turned out cute!=-)

Here is Alex on his actual Birthday w/ his smiley face Balloon! We actually celebrated w/cousins a couple days later!=-)
Just so you can see how cute and little this guy is! Watch out...he's going to be a great guard on the Basketball court someday...

Our Sweet Little Alexander (Alex) turned "1" on March 23rd ( I know I need to keep up w/ this blogging thing...a little behind). We just love our sweet little brother. He is not walking yet, but doesn't get too many opportunities as his siblings are always picking him up and taking him everywhere around the house (who needs to walk when you can be carried everywhere?). Most of the time he doesn't seem to mind. We took him in for his one-year check-up...and yes, he is the smallest of our children by far (and we don't mind a bit!)...15 whopping lbs. and 9 ounces...I think he is over 16 lbs. now though. Although he is small, he has got the sweetest, cutest , smiley personality...which by far outweighs how small he is. We sure do love him!!!=-)
Too cute Tiff!! He reminds me of our little baby he's by far my smallest baby ever, it's weird but he's smily like that and too cute! He's a cutie Tiff!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE that little guy!! What a handsome baby! Glad he had a happy birthday. Maybe Mona wants to get some cute shoes like that for our little Jace Man!! Miss you. I LOVE looking at your blog.
ReplyDeleteHe's adorable, Tiffany!! I can't believe he's already one! I think it's nice that he's not too big yet because he still feels like your baby... and I'm sure he'll be catching up to dad in no time. ;) He has such a great smile!
ReplyDeleteOh your cake looks awesome!! I might recruit you to make my kids birthday cakes!! Maybe our small babies will be friends; Brock's pediatrician predicts that he'll be a "petite gymnast" body type. He's only in the 30th percentile. Oh well--there's plenty of time too grow later...in the meantime it just makes it easier for us to hug and snuggle on them!
